Getting there

Without a car
Use Sibiu or Fagaras as the transport base, then continue by bus, taxi or transfer to Victoria, Cartisoara, Balea Cascada or Piscul Negru.
By car
Approach via the Transfagarasan road, Balea Cascada, Piscul Negru, Victoria or the relevant valley. High road access is seasonal and weather dependent.
Parking
Use parking near Balea Cascada, Piscul Negru, tourist complexes, villages and official trailheads. Do not leave a car on narrow mountain road shoulders.
