Take the train to Adler, then use a Lastochka service to Esto-Sadok or Rosa Khutor. Continue towards the trailhead by local bus, cable car or authorised transfer. Because the start and finish are in different places, check the return service in advance, arrange a transfer or leave a second vehicle near the finish.

From Adler, follow the A-149 towards Krasnaya Polyana. Reach high-mountain trailheads only by resort roads and authorised service transport. Because the start and finish are in different places, check the return service in advance, arrange a transfer or leave a second vehicle near the finish.
Parking
Use official parking at Rosa Khutor, Esto-Sadok, Gazprom Polyana or the relevant lower cable-car terminal. Do not park on forest approaches or beside barriers.

Difficult sections and safety
