Reach Gorno-Altaysk by air or coach, then continue by scheduled bus or transfer via Ust-Koksa to Tyungur. From Tyungur, approach the trailhead on foot or horseback. By car

From Gorno-Altaysk, follow the R-256 Chuysky Trakt, then continue via Ust-Kan and Ust-Koksa towards Tyungur. The final sections are unpaved and require extra time.
