Getting there

Without a car
From Palma, use TIB trains towards Inca or Sóller and regional buses to the nearest village. For mountain trailheads near the trailhead, check seasonal timetables and the last return service.
By car
Use the Ma-13/Ma-20 and local Serra de Tramuntana roads, including the Ma-10. Mountain roads are narrow, and access to some coves may be controlled.
Parking
Leave the car in a municipal village car park or at a signed trailhead. Do not block private entrances or narrow stone-walled lanes.

Difficult sections and safety

Long climbs and descents can slow the pace considerably, especially on wet or rocky ground. The route requires energy for the second half, so identify rest points in advance and avoid a late start.
