The shoreline continually changes perspective, moving between sheltered sections and exposed headlands. Along the way, coastal paths, exposed headlands and sheltered bays are revealed one section at a time. Getting there

Without a car

From Palma, use TIB trains towards Inca or Sóller and regional buses to the nearest village. For mountain trailheads near the trailhead, check seasonal timetables and the last return service.

By car

Use the Ma-13/Ma-20 and local Serra de Tramuntana roads, including the Ma-10. Mountain roads are narrow, and access to some coves may be controlled.

Parking

Leave the car in a municipal village car park or at a signed trailhead. Do not block private entrances or narrow stone-walled lanes.

Wind and weather are stronger on exposed shores, and wet rocks can be slippery.

Best time: May–October, when the coastal sections are more comfortable for a long walk

After storms and strong winds, conditions on rocks, boardwalks and the waterline may change
