Getting there

Without a car
Travel by train to Bolzano, Bressanone, Brunico or Calalzo di Cadore, then continue by regional bus into the relevant valley. The final approach to the trailhead may involve a cable car or a walk.
By car
Reach the region via the A22, then use the SS12, SS48, SS51, SS242 or local pass roads, depending on the valley. Traffic and parking may be controlled at popular passes.
Parking
Park at a lower cable-car terminal, visitor centre or official pass car park. Do not leave a vehicle on pasture or service roads.
