Getting there

Without a car
Travel from Oslo by train to Lillehammer or by coach to Fagernes, then use a seasonal bus to Tyin, Eidsbugarden or the relevant trailhead near the trailhead. Some routes also use a lake boat.
By car
The main approach uses the E16, followed by the Fv51/Fv53 and local mountain roads. High roads are seasonal and weather-dependent.

Leave the car in an official car park beside a mountain lodge, boat landing or signed trailhead.
