Trail at Chyortovy Vorota — Gor and Beregovykh Vidov: Among Slopes and Clouds
The most recognisable place along the way is Lake Baikal. As the route develops, coastal paths, exposed headlands and sheltered bays come into view and invite a slower pace. A second highlight is Chersky Peak

Questions before the trip
Can I do this route without a car?
Use the Trans-Siberian Railway to Slyudyanka-1, Kultuk or another station on the southern shore of Lake Baikal. Continue towards the trailhead on foot, by local taxi or by suburban train to the nearest stop. Because the start and finish are in different places, check the return service in advance, arrange a transfer or leave a second vehicle near the finish
Is this route suitable for children?
Possible with caution: review the surface, difficult sections, and extra time for stops in advance.
Can I download GPX and KML?
Yes, GPX and KML are available on the route page. Open the map, download the file, and use it in a navigator before your trip; key route facts: 3.6 km, easy.
