TITSA buses reach Teide National Park from Puerto de la Cruz and the southern resorts, but services are limited. Check the nearest stop for the trailhead and the last return bus; an early transfer is often more practical. The main difficulty depends on trail conditions: after rain the surface may become slippery and the usual pace may slow. The finish is separate from the start, so arrange the return journey before setting out.
