The lower section offers a gradual start before woodland gives way to more open terrain. Along the way, wooded lower slopes, mountain meadows and rocky ground are revealed one section at a time. Travel to Simferopol by train or intercity coach, then continue by trolleybus or bus to Yalta, Alushta, Angarsky Pass or the nearest settlement. A local taxi may be needed for the trailhead near the trailhead.
