Aygir — Peak Ufa: Across Ridges and Mountain Meadows

Route at a glance

The lower section offers a gradual start before woodland gives way to more open terrain. The character of the area is especially clear in wooded lower slopes, mountain meadows and rocky ground. The most distinctive places are Ridge Karatash, Cliff «Chyortov Palets», Peak Ufa and Ridge Karatash - skala Chiortov palets - Peak Ufa. It is worth allowing time for a brief stop at each one.

Getting there

Without a car

Travel from Ufa or Chelyabinsk by coach to Yuryuzan or Tryokhgorny, then use local transport to Tyulyuk or another gateway village. Continue towards the trailhead on foot.

By car

The main approach uses the M-5 Ural highway, followed by regional roads to Tyulyuk, Nikolayevka or Baysakalovo. Final sections may be unpaved.

Parking

Park at a tourist base, nature-park checkpoint or official village area. Keep barriers clear.
