Route at a glance

Settlements, woodland and open roads follow one another without long monotonous stretches. The combination of country roads, wooded sections and small settlements gives the journey its variety. Particular attention should be given to Lida, Novogrudok, Perenos and Lidskaia. These are the places that give the route its recognisable character.

Getting there

Travel by train to Grodno, Lida, Slonim or Smarhon, choosing the station nearest the trailhead. Continue by district bus to the settlement near the trailhead; check bicycle carriage rules in advance. Because the start and finish are in different places, check the return service in advance, arrange a transfer or leave a second vehicle near the finish.

By car

Use the M6, M11, P5, P11 or P44, depending on the district, followed by the local road to the start. Observe access rules around historic sites and border areas. Difficult sections and safety

On long paved sections, ride predictably and do not assume that shops will be frequent. Check the bicycle, forecast, and available daylight before departure. The finish is separate from the start, so arrange the return journey in advance.
