Route at a glance

The approach to the water unfolds gradually, moving from sheltered paths to open shoreline. Even the connecting sections remain engaging because of woodland paths, open shores and quiet waterside sections. The route passes Vyacha, Silichi and Borisovskaia. Together they turn the walk into a coherent introduction to the area rather than a simple transfer.

Getting there

Without a car

Travel by train to Minsk-Passazhirsky, then continue by suburban train or district bus towards the town nearest the trailhead. Approach the trailhead on foot or by bicycle and check the return service in advance.

By car

Drive from Minsk via the M2, M4 or P53, then use the district road towards the trailhead. Check whether the final forest or dacha road is open to normal traffic.

Parking

Leave the car beside a railway station, visitor attraction, local council or official village parking. Keep bus stops, barriers and farm access clear.

Difficult sections and safety

On public roads, allow for vehicle traffic, crosswinds, and potentially long gaps between convenient stopping places. Check the brakes and lights, carry enough water, and plan rest points in advance.
