Route at a glance

Open wetland alternates with wooded islands and drier ridges. The setting is shaped by a combination of open wetlands, pine-covered islands and boardwalk sections. The main line of the experience is formed by Oznakomitel'noe Wetland pod Minskom. (Omel'ianskii zakaznik, Bolota Omel'ianskogo and Minsk. They are spaced through the journey so that the area reveals itself gradually.

Getting there

Without a car
Travel by train to Minsk-Passazhirsky, then continue by suburban train or district bus towards the town nearest the trailhead. Approach the trailhead on foot or by bicycle and check the return service in advance.
By car
Drive from Minsk via the M5 or P23, then use the district road towards the trailhead. Check whether the final forest or dacha road is open to normal traffic.
Parking
Leave the car beside a railway station, visitor attraction, local council or official village parking. Keep bus stops, barriers and farm access clear.

Difficult sections and safety
