Route at a glance

The path follows the river valley, sometimes close to the water and sometimes on higher banks. Along the way, floodplain paths, green riverbanks and quiet country lanes are revealed one section at a time. The main line of the experience is formed by The Neman valley, Dzerzhinsk, Brody Nemana and Cherez. They are spaced through the journey so that the area reveals itself gradually.

Getting there

Travel by train to Minsk-Passazhirsky, then continue by suburban train or district bus towards the town nearest the trailhead. Approach the trailhead on foot or by bicycle and check the return service in advance. By car

Drive from Minsk via the M1, M6 or P28, then use the district road towards the trailhead. Check whether the final forest or dacha road is open to normal traffic. Leave the car beside a railway station, visitor attraction, local council or official village parking. Keep bus stops, barriers and farm access clear.

Difficult sections and safety

After rain, unpaved sections can become soft, slippery, and considerably slower. Take particular care around ruts, sand, and wet roots; carry a repair kit and do not overestimate grip in corners. The finish is separate from the start, so arrange the return journey in advance.
