TITSA buses reach Teide National Park from Puerto de la Cruz and the southern resorts, but services are limited. Check the nearest stop for the trailhead and the last return bus; an early transfer is often more practical. Because the start and finish are in different places, check the return service in advance, arrange a transfer or leave a second vehicle near the finish.

By car

Drive up via the TF-21, TF-24 or TF-38, depending on the side of the island. Check for weather, wildfire and road-work restrictions before travelling. Parking

Use official parking at the cable car, Parador, El Portillo or signed viewpoints. Do not park on the roadside outside marked bays.
