Getting there

Without a car
Reach Odda by coach via Bergen, Voss or Haugesund. In season, shuttle buses link Odda and Tyssedal with the P1 and P2 parking areas, where the climb towards the trailhead begins. Because the start and finish are in different places, check the return service in advance, arrange a transfer or leave a second vehicle near the finish.
By car
Odda is reached by the E134 and Rv13. Continue through Tyssedal to P1 Tyssedal or P2 Skjeggedal; access to P3 Mågelitopp is separately controlled and should be checked in advance. Because the start and finish are in different places, check the return service in advance, arrange a transfer or leave a second vehicle near the finish.
Parking
Use only the official P1 Tyssedal, P2 Skjeggedal or authorised P3 Mågelitopp parking areas. Roadside parking on the narrow access road can obstruct traffic and may result in removal.
