Route description

This upper outing starts at Largozalm and leads to open mountain ground at Haneburger Cross. The pastoral start gradually recedes as the path demands attention to each step on slopes and rock. Pause by the cross for surrounding mountain views when visibility allows; nearby high points do not remove the need for caution at edges. The selected ascent ends here. Haneburger’s actual summit lies separately and is excluded. The Krepper Hut approach, Largoz summit and further Haneburger ascent require independent plans. Include the cross-to-valley return before setting off: this short upper direction does not automatically return to an inhabited valley.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - No With a dog - No data By bike - No With a stroller - No Mobile signal - No data The start is already at upper Largozalm after a separate approach. Narrow mountain ground, rock and a high finish require secure footing and an independent return; an ordinary children’s outing, bicycle and stroller are unsuitable. Dog rules and continuous reception are unconfirmed.

Nearby

Haneburger Summit, Roßkopf and Wattenspitze need independent checked ascents. Largoz Summit and Glotzenkreuz belong to other upper directions. Krepper Hut is a separate lower approach location, not an included service stop.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Verified regular public transport directly to the upper Largozalm start is unavailable. Arrange lower arrival and the walking approach separately. The cross-to-departure return is excluded from the selected ascent.
By car
For the Largozalm side, the regional author names Volders → Grossvolderberg → Krepper Hut as lower arrival. Vehicle access directly to the upper start is unestablished. Use separately confirmed permitted roads and paths for the onward approach and return.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Check permitted lower vehicle storage for the complete outing and return. Volderwildbad parking from another approach does not serve the selected Largozalm start by implication.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainДанные по набору высоты уточняются.
SurfaceТип покрытия пока не определён.
Риски Uneven rock and narrow sloping ground require mountain experience and secure footing. The primary description of individual paths includes a more demanding mountain portion; the easy lower alpine road does not describe it. Fog removes landmarks and wind complicates the upper stop. Avoid adding an unfamiliar actual-summit ascent as a shortcut; retain a checked return.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Time for the route 2–2.5 h
With stops | 2.5–3.5 h This editorial allowance covers only the upper Largozalm-to-cross ascent. Add the lower approach and complete descent separately, with a rough-ground reserve. The larger Volderwildbad outing and actual-summit ascent are excluded.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Choose dry snow-free ground, settled weather and good visibility. Carry wind protection and a worsening-weather reserve even when the valley is warm. A winter version or fresh-snow passage is unconfirmed.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
Grippy mountain footwear, warm clothing and rain protection.
Water and food for the upper ascent, independent approach and descent.
A return map, headlamp, first aid and communication.
