Route description

Ski Trail begins beside the small wooden building of Berezka ski base and climbs onto the Torgashinsky Ridge. Allotment plots initially remain close by, before the path becomes increasingly wooded. This gradual departure from the city outskirts makes a manageable introduction to the ridge: there is no need to choose a distant rock destination immediately; follow the climb to Health Trail. The base has a recognisable feature of its own — a single-storey wooden building included in the Krasnoyarsk Territory Film Commission’s location catalogue. Beyond it lies a forest outing with a climb and a return to arrange beforehand. At the upper junction, pause and decide whether you have had enough woodland and fresh air for the day.

Route at a glance

Главное за минуту
To enter the Torgashinsky Ridge through an identifiable starting point, Berezka base, and observe the transition from allotment outskirts to forest. This short climb introduces the trail network without requiring an outing to the rocks. Its reward is the woodland passage itself and the freedom to plan a longer ridge day later.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Children need a manageable climbing pace and energy for returning. The natural slope is unsuitable for a stroller outing. Cycle suitability and dog rules are unconfirmed. The organiser describes partial reception.

Nearby

Berezka base is associated with winter sport, but current hire operation, charges, hours and the separate ski circuit’s condition require checking. The upper junction meets Health Trail; other rocky destinations lie beyond this outing. Drinking water, toilet operation and overnight facilities are unconfirmed. Looking at the wooden building from outside does not establish unrestricted access to indoor rooms or base services.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
The organiser identifies bus 58 to Shkola stop. A separate walk reaches Berezka base before the climb begins. Establish the current service, boarding side and return departure beforehand. A final-bus time in the older description should not be treated as the current timetable.
By car
The organiser’s vehicle landmark is Berezka ski base on the city side of the trail. Establish permitted access and a drop-off point before travelling. Continue on foot towards Health Trail. If returning to a car beside the base, allow for a separate descent along the familiar passage; direct vehicle access to the upper forest finish is unconfirmed.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Establish a lawful place for the car and current arrival conditions at the base before travelling.

What to expect

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 167 м.
SurfaceDirt 55%, Dirt / grass 13%, Gravel 1%, Unknown 31%.
Риски The main task is the woodland climb and preserving energy for descending. At junctions, follow the direction towards Health Trail rather than incidental allotment branches. Take care on natural ground in wet weather; grippy footwear matters particularly during ice. The name Ski Trail does not guarantee a prepared ski route throughout this walking outing.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 51 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
The organiser gives roughly 30–40 minutes for the climb, depending on fitness and pace. Add the walk from Shkola, pauses and the descent back to the base. The Health Trail junction makes a natural place to finish this introduction and turn back. Plan any further ridge destination separately so that a short outing does not quietly become a long day.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Dry, snow-free periods make it easier to learn the woodland surface and junctions. Use tick protection in summer and watch damp slopes in autumn. In winter, establish ice and actual passage conditions; operating ski hire or a separate sports circuit does not confirm preparation of this trail. Choose daylight for a first visit.

What to bring

Grippy footwear for the climb and descent.
Weather-appropriate clothing with rain and wind protection.
Water and snacks allowing for the return.
An offline map and charged phone.
