Route description

Around the Plyanta ponds, Belovezhskaya Pushcha feels intimate: dark water reflects the trees, and the path links small pools with an old juniper. Lake Ring explores the park’s southern recreational area, where the woodland and its managed waters belong to the same landscape. Take time beside the banks and look for details easily missed on a larger excursion. The giant juniper is the walk’s distinctive natural landmark. This version links the approach from the visitor area, the Plyanta shores and the woodland beside the tree; plan the return from its finish at Plyanta-1.

Route at a glance

Главное за минуту
Choose this walk for the waterside character of the forest. Plyanta-1, Plyanta-2 and Plyanta-3 offer separate places to pause, while the old juniper gives the woodland section a clear destination. It works well as an unhurried part of a day in Kamenyuki.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
An easygoing pace can suit children with adult supervision beside the water. The park lists Lake Ring among its walking routes; bicycle permission and uninterrupted stroller access for this version need separate confirmation. Ask the park specifically about taking a dog. A verified mobile reception map for this outing is unavailable.

Nearby

The Kamenyuki animal enclosures and Nature Museum can be visited separately after the walk. The park organises recreational fishing at Plyanta under its own rules; a waterside walk does not include fishing permission.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car

Reach Kamenyuki on the R83 road via Kamenets. From Minsk, the park recommends the M1 followed by the roads through Zhabinka and Kamenets. Agree any travel on internal forest roads with staff and begin your visit at the tourist centre.
