Route description

The Nemnovo to Lesnaya cycle road passes through Sonichi and Rynkovtsy, alternating village streets with the rural setting of the Augustów Canal. Begin beside Nemnovo Lock. The canal history museum building stands nearby, while the natural Czarna Hańcza adds a contrasting river character further along the engineered waterway. This shorter one-way version omits the repetitions of the expanded Augustów Way. It ends in Lesnaya on the Belarusian side. The Polish section and international crossing are outside the ride, and a separate Nemnovo return needs arranging before departure. Follow border-district signs even on quiet village roads.
