Route description

The large journey starts and finishes in Paryzh, in Belarus’s Pastavy district, beside the local Eiffel Tower. It travels through western settlements to Halshany and continues south to Brest, then returns north by the Slonim and Maladzyechna sides. In Halshany, the route passes the Franciscan church; in Maladzyechna it reaches the Stalag 342 memorial. These places connect the unusual starting point with western Belarusian architecture and remembrance. A substantial independent multiday cycling journey lies between the stops: confirm accommodation, food and options to change the programme beforehand. The Brest section approaches the fortress’s eastern side, while a complete visit inside the memorial complex requires separate arrangements.
