Route description

King of the Hill at Yakutskiye Gory is a small running adventure with one clear aim: climbing the ski slope. The organisers introduced this separate ascent at Kaspersky Race 2021. Attention is concentrated on going uphill rather than completing a forest circuit: choose a manageable rhythm, watch your footing and reach the upper slope with energy to spare. The setting has a sporting character. The climb offers a different way to experience the ski venue near Yakuty through walking and running. There is no need to repeat a racing effort: walk where necessary and preserve the enjoyment of a short outing on an open slope. Agree an independent visit with the Yakutskiye Gory operator. Before starting, establish whether passage on the slope is permissible that day and how to return downhill safely. This version ends on the upper slope and does not include a prepared descent. In suitable conditions, it can form a separate activity within an arranged venue visit.

By car
The arrival reference is Yakutskiye Gory near Yakuty in the Dzerzhinsk district. Agree both a visit and specific walking access to the slope before leaving. The operator accepts prior requests in spring, summer and autumn and closes the venue in winter. The former race does not authorise ordinary unrestricted admission. Agree the vehicle meeting place with the operator; do not assume driving on the slope.
