Route description

This extended journey begins near Shimeroy and brings together different mountain sides around Kezenoy-Am. Abdalzabazul provides the southern summit, while an added Khachkhar branch offers another high perspective. Kharkaroy Battle Tower then brings attention back from distant ridges to a stone structure’s history. Comparing these encounters across several days is more rewarding than collecting every summit in one outing. Cheberloy Canyon Viewpoint remains a distinct lookout stop within the programme. Decide beforehand how to order the mountain branches, where to sleep and how to finish on the Kharkaroy side. Choose exposed upper sections according to the weather; a shorter alternative day is preferable to pressing towards Khachkhar in strong wind or cloud.

Nearby

Explore Old Hoi and Kezenoy-Am’s shore on separate walks. Nokhchi-Keloy Waterfall belongs to a neighbouring direction rather than the compulsory Kharkaroy finish. Discuss the cave below the tower separately because of its narrow descent.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainДанные по набору высоты уточняются.
SurfaceТип покрытия пока не определён.
Риски The Khachkhar branch includes exposed mountain terrain: wind and cloud may change the plan before the summit. Do not expect equally visible navigation cues everywhere. On the southern side, preserve energy for descending and recheck crossings; wet grass and steep slopes require care.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 15 h 23 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Allow several trekking days and a weather reserve. Allocate the mountain branches, Kharkaroy Battle Tower and Shimeroy approach separately; a neighbouring short itinerary’s timing does not describe this complete programme. Confirm overnight places and water for the chosen order, then agree collection.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Use a snow-free period after checking the upper sections. Clear conditions and moderate wind particularly matter on the northern branch. Avoid insisting on a summit in fog; check snow and overnight weather near the season’s edges.
