Route description

This passage begins on Sedoy itself, above the mountain bowl of Cirque 3. From the saddle, it descends through rocky ground and alpine vegetation towards the upper resort area. The change from an open crest to the slope gives this short section its character: the pass reveals several sides of the mountain, while below it attention returns to the path underfoot. Snow or wet stones can make descending harder than ascending. Arrange how to reach Sedoy and how to finish the complete mountain day. A cableway journey alone does not reach the start of this descent.
