Route description

The through ride is currently unavailable: traffic at the Rudawka–Lesnaya crossing is temporarily suspended. August Velo from Mikaszówka to Grodno remains an interesting historical cycling direction beside the Augustów Canal, but authorised portions in each country require independent arrangements. Old reports of the route’s opening do not establish current border access. The Polish departure stands beside Mikaszówka’s wooden Saint Mary Magdalene Church. The direction then approaches Kudrynki Lock and the international Kurzyniec section. On the Belarusian side, Dombrovka and Nemnovo waterside stops connect with roads through Sapotskin and the Svyatsk surroundings towards Grodno. This version repeats passages and requires independent programme planning; crossing fields or woodland to bypass the border is prohibited.
