Route description

The summer Sommersteig follows the upper rural-road side of Senderstal towards the Fritzenhütte hunting lodge. Its forest path winds across the slope and ends at the junction beside the building. This independent mountain approach has different departure and ending points; no return is included. Fritzenhütte serves as a landmark and exterior pause. The hunting lodge is unconfirmed as a public hiking hut or food stop. Continuing towards Axamer Kögele needs a separate mountain plan and remains outside this short variant.
