Route description

This Seilbahnsteig variant starts at an intermediate woodland junction and descends towards Hungerburg. Seegrube’s upper station lies beyond the selected start: arrival there is not included and does not replace the separate approach to the junction. Follow the steep forest path and steps downwards, crossing broader roads before returning to the walking passage. Stable footing and attention at repeated turns matter more than finding a summit or hut. The lower finish is near Hungerburg; St Theresa’s Church and station squares require additional approaches. Choose this descent only after agreeing how to reach the upper start and return from the lower side.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - With caution With a dog - No data By bike - No With a stroller - No Mobile signal - No data Transport serves Hungerburg, but the upper forest start needs a separate mountain approach. Children need experience on steep steps; the sustained descent strains knees. Cycling is prohibited on the path and a stroller is unsuitable. Dog rules and continuous reception are unconfirmed.

Nearby

St Theresa’s Church, Hermann-Buhl-Platz and the cable-car museum need separate Hungerburg extensions. Seegrube and alpine farms above the forest require other approaches and are not visited on the selected descent.
