Route description

This high ridge passage begins already on Brennerspitze and runs in reverse towards Seblasspitze. It follows the mountain crest and ends east of the second summit, before the separate Seblaskreuz approach. Two specific summits are visited here; valley ascent and onward descent remain independent tasks. A primary author’s account describes the connecting ridge as unmarked and technically demanding. The Alpine Club also notes short scrambling and steep block terrain on the Mittergratspitze side. Experienced mountain walkers need to assess terrain and conditions independently. A short ridge passage still requires a substantial valley approach.
