Route description

Yubileyny Pond is a useful landmark for discovering the green edge of Elektrostal’s Eastern District. This circuit approaches its shore and also visits the Khodtsa valley. The two waters offer different reasons to pause: the pond invites a quiet stop, while the smaller river reveals something of the shape of the surrounding landscape. There is room here for both an ordinary neighbourhood walk and a more attentive look at the paths beside the town. The area around Yubileyny is changing. The municipality has discussed improvements, so do not expect every part of the outing to have the same newly laid surface. Stay on accessible paths and respect temporary barriers rather than walking through works. A visit to the shore fits naturally into the walk; swimming is a separate activity requiring a currently operating designated beach. For the circuit itself, choose a dry day, allow time by the pond and return to the familiar edge of the district.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Keep children on accessible paths and supervise them closely beside the water. Continuous stroller access, dog and cycling rules, and current transport to this starting point have not been established.

Nearby

Elektrostal’s Yuzhny and Zapadny waters are not on this circuit. Consider them only as separate visits after checking current rules; a summer announcement does not replace notices at the individual beach.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Check a current city service to Elektrostal’s Eastern District and plan the final walk to your chosen starting point. Direct transport to the eastern end of this circuit has not been confirmed; reaching the town does not complete the approach.
By car
Approach from the built-up side of the Eastern District and continue through a permitted pedestrian entrance. Keep cars off waterside and woodland paths. If works affect access, choose an open approach from the town.
Parking
A dedicated car park at the eastern starting point has not been confirmed. Locate a legal space in the built-up area in advance and check signs on arrival. Keep emergency access and the shore clear.

What to expect

Places
Yubileyny Pond The pond beside the Eastern District approached by this circuit; the official summer notice permits swimming only at a designated equipped beach.
Khodtsa A small river beside the northern part of the walk, where paths approach its valley. Access to the water does not make it a safe swimming place.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 19 м.
SurfaceAsphalt 53%, Gravel 40%, Artificial surface 5%.
Риски Watch your footing beside the water and avoid loose banks. Natural paths can change after rain. If improvement works block a section, return along an accessible path; a detour through a construction site is not part of the outing.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 1 h 24 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Walk | Allow 1.5–2 hours for the circuit and a pause at the pond. Approach | Add the journey on foot from city transport or your legal parking place. Margin | Barriers may require a return along the same path, so avoid a tightly timed finish.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Dry weather from late spring to autumn is more convenient for visiting the shore. A municipal notice of June 2026 lists Yubileyny among waters authorised for that bathing season, but swimming is restricted to specially designated equipped places. Plan autumn and winter visits as walks without swimming; walking on the ice is not proposed.

What to bring

A saved approach plan and a charged phone.
