Route description

Zhirovichi opens a journey that returns you to the monastery after an extensive ride along western Belarusian roads. Before departing, give Assumption Cathedral time from the permitted visitor side. An attentive look is more rewarding than reducing a familiar name to a starting checkpoint. In Ruzhany, pause at Holy Trinity Church and Saints Peter and Paul Church. They reveal a side of the settlement beyond its usual palace story. The Ruzhanka adds a water episode, while the Yaselda appears on the more distant Polesie side. Changing settlements and river names let the journey unfold as connected chapters. The jubilee name recalls a cycling tradition, but you can explore at your own touring pace. Divide the road between confirmed overnight places and leave time for Zhirovichi after returning. Agree church visits and additional museum programmes beforehand so they complement the ride without forcing a rushed last stage.
