Route description

Lida’s western edge combines a short cycle outing with quiet visits to memorial sites in Borovka Forest. The main loop begins beside the mass grave commemorating the victims of 8 May 1942 and heads west along woodland and suburban roads. The place remembers the destruction of Lida’s ghetto community; stop and walk your bicycle beside the graves. Three independent parts form this version: the main loop, a short approach to the 1992 memorial and a separate northern passage. Connecting transfers are undescribed. Select an independent programme and authorised approaches rather than assuming a continuous circuit through all parts. Respect memorial grounds and avoid crossing burial areas.
