Route description

This short walking line starts on Gorelnik’s upper side and descends through Small Almaty Gorge. It passes the Small Almaty riverside, bends around the eastern side of Medeu’s debris-flow dam and ends beside its upper road side. The specific river and substantial engineering structure define this variant. Its departure is already above lower Medeu. Arrange access, further descent and onward travel separately. Gorelnik waterfalls, visitor-centre interiors and skating are outside the passage.
