Route description

The selected path begins already on the Akhshtyr woodland side and reaches Dzykhrinsky Waterfall. Woodland path gives way to rocky gorge ground, with the waterfall on the Dzykhrinka providing the final impression. The opposite Mzymta-bank approach, reservoir visit and complete Ship Rocks circuit are excluded; return from the waterfall is separate too. Shortness does not establish ease: the direction includes a steep rocky portion and a mapped water crossing. An older firsthand author mentioned a cable beside the waterfall, without verified present reliability. Check exact territorial permission and a permitted safe crossing before travelling; avoid completing the approach in strong water or along a closed path.
