Route description

The journey from Pskov reaches Bolshaya Tolba, crosses Pskov Lake and connects two Talab islands. Its mainland portion requires independent road travel, while the stretches across the lake need boats arranged beforehand. After approaching by water, the programme walks along Zalit Island’s western side; another crossing then reaches Belov Island. There it passes St Peter and St Paul Church and continues through island greenery to the southwestern shore. Returning to the mainland is outside this programme. Quiet island surroundings and open water give the journey its purpose, but agree every landing, the returning boat and any overnight stay before departure.
