Route description

From Blauherd, the Flower Trail heads toward Tufteren, where characteristic Gadis farm buildings stand among mountain meadows. Read the interpretation panels, then look for the plants growing nearby: a straightforward descent becomes a closer encounter with an Alpine meadow. Flowering depends on the season, so the walk changes from visit to visit. At Tufteren, attention shifts to the buildings and the workings of a mountain hamlet. This selected section ends here. If you want to finish the day by lift, plan an additional walk to Sunnegga; it is beyond this short outing.
