Route description

From Sunnegga, the outing climbs toward Blauherd through the Marmot Path area. An unhurried pace leaves time to listen to the meadow, pause over wildlife interpretation and continue uphill. Marmots live here on their own terms, so an encounter is a chance rather than an item on a schedule. At Blauherd, Alpine Lounge explains Alpine nature and makes a useful continuation of outdoor observation. Beyond the station, the walk includes an additional hillside circuit and finishes on the slope below it. Decide which lift you will return to beforehand; reaching Stellisee’s shore is a separate extension.

Nearby

Stellisee lies near the upper area, but reaching its shore requires a separate extension. Leisee and Sunnegga’s family area are also additional to this outing.
