Route description

This outing connects upper Cirque 2 with the wooded approaches towards Polikarya. Medvezhy comes first: an inclined waterfall beside Tobias where water runs down the slope rather than falling as one vertical curtain. A longer descent follows the viewing stop. Lower down, retain energy for further climbs and the planned finish. Use an open final path to Polikarya: this passage reaches its approach, so verify the visit to the two-armed cascade separately. Cableways and permitted walking directions must fit your plan.

Polikarya itself lies beyond the selected final approach; check a safe open viewing path separately. Iceberg and Kholodnoye lakes are higher in Cirque 3 and require another mountain outing, rather than an automatic addition after the forest descent.
