Route description

From Blejska Hut on Lipanca, the walk heads towards Srenjski Pass and ends on Viševnik. Lipanca’s woodland and meadow setting gradually gives way to open mountain terrain; the saddle invites a pause before continuing towards the summit. Hut, pass and peak form a clear sequence, each offering another perspective on Pokljuka. The beginning is already in the mountains. Add the approach from the road to Lipanca and the descent from Viševnik to your own programme. Reaching the summit does not finish the day: the return direction, weather and remaining daylight matter just as much. Check hut operation beforehand, particularly if planning to begin after an overnight stay.

Without a car
A scheduled service directly to Blejska Hut is unconfirmed. PZS publishes bus access to lower settlements followed by walking. Choose current transport to Pokljuka and plan the approach separately.
By car
PZS describes approaching Lipanca from the Pokljuka road via Medvedova Konta. Check permitted access on the forest road before travelling. A car does not reach the mountain beginning beside the hut.
Parking
Parking directly at the mountain beginning is unconfirmed. Use an authorised space on your selected Pokljuka approach and establish parking conditions and duration beforehand.
