Route description

From the Volova side, mountain paths gradually reach Vesnarka and the Hreghit massif. The character of Zaprutskyi Gorgany emerges through spruce forest alternating with meadows, followed by rocky ground and sparse trees higher up. The selected outing returns through familiar portions before finishing on Hreghit’s slope; it should not be treated as a simple direct road to a shepherd hut. Examine the mountain’s stony surroundings near the upper passage while retaining energy for the later valley exit. This is Vesnarka beside Hreghit; the meadow of the same name near Kostrycha belongs to another area.
