Route description

From Zaroslyak, the green path follows a wooded slope and gradually reaches Hoverla’s northern shoulder. Low vegetation higher up reveals how the rounded summit separates from the neighbouring mountains; Chornohora opens beyond the final ascent. The day has a clear destination: reach Ukraine’s highest summit and take time to examine its mountain setting. Keep to the chosen direction rather than drifting onto the neighbouring blue path or towards Nesamovyte. The passage finishes at the summit, requiring a planned descent with energy in reserve. Hoverla waterfall belongs to a separate valley excursion.
