Route description

At Raduzhnoe Lake, an expanded exploration of Sleeping Sayan’s pass paths begins. The early section reaches Sleeping Sayan Hair Viewpoint and the additional side through Intermediate and Artists-1 passes. The outing then returns towards another mountain connection: Head and Sleeping Sayan saddles lead towards Lazurnoe Lake. Pause beside Lazurnoe after the successive saddle approaches. Taygish-2 follows, while the ending remains on the western wooded approach towards Artists Lake. Comparing neighbouring pass directions is this version’s appeal, rather than simply moving between waters. Revisited high ground requires a prepared group and an independent exit; Artists Lake’s shore and Karovoe remain separate continuations.
