Route description

Here Ergaki unfolds through wooded paths, broad Tushkanchik saddle and an encounter with Svetloe Lake. The beginning lies on the lower Buyba side. Cross the pass first and reach Svetloe’s southwestern approach, where its mountain setting feels especially striking after the long walk among trees. The journey returns over Tushkanchik before choosing a longer western forest branch. This leads towards Raduzhnoe: the later part passes near the lake, while the final descent to water needs separate preparation. The walk ends again on the lower Buyba side, at a different woodland point. The repeated pass and familiar returning sections make this version appealing to visitors who enjoy a substantial forest outing with one main lake pause.

Dog rules and reception are unestablished.

Nearby

Hanging Stone and Karovoe require independent approaches; this version does not reach them. The actual Pearl of Sayan waterfall and Uyutnoe shoreline also lie outside the outing. Plan Tushkanchik Mountain ascent and crossings beyond Svetloe separately from the wooded saddle passage.

What to expect

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainДанные по набору высоты уточняются.
SurfaceDirt 6%, Artificial surface 1%, Unknown 93%.
Риски Duration, woodland junctions and the return over the same saddle are the main difficulties. Wet roots and stones can be slippery, while damp hollows slow progress. Assess small bridges and stream crossings on site rather than assuming a forest path stays dry. Check current bear advice and the old western branches before departure.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Dry summer weather after snowmelt is preferable for this wooded day. Prolonged rain changes paths and stream crossings. Shorten autumn plans to fit daylight; winter needs an independent woodland and pass-condition review.
