Route description

From the roadside Tushkanchik ranger-station side, the outing enters Ergaki’s forest towards Svetloe Lake. The gradual mountain ascent gives time to appreciate the Sayan woodland: watch roots and stones and take short breaks to preserve energy for the return. Near the ascent ending, the lake basin appears with wooded shores and the Ptitsa and Zvezdny skyline above. The selected outing includes returning forest paths and finishes at the same lower roadside beginning. Preserve time for a relaxed lake pause, while keeping shore circuits and summit ascents as separate plans. The directorate has improved sections with walkways and a staircase; check actual present passage before departure. Devote a day to this one lake once the complete ascent, return and park admission are agreed.
