Route description

At Mountain Spirits Lake, a mountain ascent begins towards one of Ergaki’s most distinctive rock peaks. The path first passes Shukharta’s seasonal basin, then approaches the Coloured Lakes: Maiden’s Tears and Boys Lake. Pause beside these waters before climbing; the Dragon’s Tooth massif is particularly striking when seen from below. The subsequent section demands experience on large boulders and rock. The selected ending is the actual Dragon’s Tooth summit, making this a different version from the short Warm Lake approach to a ridge junction. A qualified leader and suitable protection are essential for the climb and descent. A prepared group can connect several different mountain basins before reaching the rocky top, while arranging both the return and the initial Mountain Spirits approach separately.
