Route description

By Novinka, Azure Waters invites you to see a water body formed in a former sand quarry. The selected outing starts near the official entrance, reaches the northern shore side and continues through woodland towards the southern water section. Familiar paths return near the finish, leaving another opportunity for a shore pause before ending close to the beginning. The quarry landscape borders a protected wetland system. Actual path-side interpretation covers reeds, meadow plants, beavers, Scots pine, birds and geological structure. These stops help distinguish shore, woodland and damp surroundings without entering the bog. Water appearance changes with light and conditions; quiet shore-side observation is the purpose of this visit. Allow time for reading and photographs, choosing secure passages at narrow or wet sections. This version suits a short attentive walk combining water and woods. The approach from Novinka railway platform is a separate part of the day, requiring energy and return-time planning.

Сезонность и рекомендации
The authority identifies the warm season as more comfortable. Dry days usually help with shore-path assessment and water-side pauses. Check hollows and the station approach in spring and after prolonged rain. Start earlier in autumn as daylight shortens.
