Route description

At Lisino-Korpus, woodland and forestry education meet along the same paths. The Russian Forestry History Museum building stands near the beginning, followed by the Yegor Kankrin memorial and military mass grave. Beyond the settlement side lies the arboretum, where trees have long provided material for practical forestry study. The woodland section brings interpretation of Fyodor Arnold’s plantings and old-growth forests. At the Lustovka, teaching plots give way to a river valley and an actual suspension footbridge. The return follows the settlement side, offering an exterior view of the hunting palace designed by Nikolai Benois. Choose this loop to combine trees, woodland and architecture within a short outing. Pause respectfully at the memorial and leave time for interpretive boards. Museum, palace and church-property admission require separate arrangements; an outdoor walk is rewarding without entering interiors.

Without a car
Lisinsky Forestry College gives a train from Moscow Station to Tosno, then bus 313 to Lisino-Korpus. The Transport Committee also identifies this route in its service register. Prepare a separate approach from a suitable stop to the selected beginning opposite the college. The college also identifies Vitebsky Station rail arrival at Lustovka, with an independently prepared station approach. Check services, connections and evening return for the visiting date.
By car
Drive to Lisino-Korpus and the roadside opposite Lisinsky Forestry College, then continue on foot. The selected loop returns near its beginning. Teaching plots, woodland paths and the suspension bridge are not vehicle access. Respect reserve and institutional entry restrictions.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. A permitted public space serving the selected entrance is unestablished. Find out where parking is permitted and prepare the entrance approach opposite the college. Do not assume institutional land or a forest verge is available without agreement.
