Route description

Raspberry Hill begins near Ludnoye Lake and introduces the woodland side of Toksovsky Nature Park. This version leaves the lake approach through spruce woods and sandy hills, reaches the northern wetland interpretation stop and returns along a familiar forest side. It finishes near Ludnoye, slightly apart from the selected beginning. Pay attention to details. The Kames board introduces glacial processes, while Spruce Forest Plants helps you examine the green ground cover beneath the trees. The northern turn has a Raised Bog stop, followed on the return by interpretation of mosses and animal signs. Actual installed stops turn an ordinary woodland path into an attentive outing. Part of the approach repeats, allowing a return to a favourite place or unfinished board. Choose a dry day, suitable footwear and an unhurried pace. Arrival without a car is possible, but the Toksovo station to Ludnoye approach needs planning separately from the woodland loop.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Toksovo railway arrival is confirmed, with a separate approach to Ludnoye. With children supervise water, roots and junctions; the selected loop exceeds the short standard version. The whole ground-path and hilly outing is not recommended for a stroller. Dog rules, cycling permission and reception are unestablished.

Nearby

The protected-area authority publishes an audio guide for the trail; prepare access before travelling. Kavgolovo’s shore, Spruce Hills and other park areas need their own programmes and approaches. A description of the complete standard trail does not make every nearby object a stop of this selected woodland version.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
The protected-area authority identifies Finland Station rail arrival at Toksovo, followed by an independent approach to Ludnoye Lake. Choose permitted settlement and foot passages, crossing the railway only at authorised places. This substantial approach is outside the selected loop. Check stopping patterns, timetable and return allowance beforehand. A bus directly to Ludnoye is unconfirmed.
By car
Drive to Toksovo, then prepare a separate permitted walking approach to Ludnoye. Continuous vehicle access to the selected woodland beginning is unconfirmed. Old railway-side and shore directions do not authorise driving. The trail’s paths serve walking; nature-park restrictions apply to motor traffic.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. A permitted public space serving the selected Ludnoye beginning is unestablished. Find out where parking is permitted and prepare the walking approach. Do not leave a vehicle on the shore, forest paths or in the railway zone.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Time for the route 1–1 hr 30 min
With stops | 1 hr 30 min–2 hr 30 min These are editorial allowances for the selected longer woodland loop and repeated approach. Reading, family pauses and ground condition increase time. Add the Toksovo to Ludnoye station approach, transport waiting and return between the nearby entrance points separately.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
The authority mainly recommends the warm snow-free period. Dry weather usually suits roots, hollows and board reading better. Allow reserve daylight in autumn. Winter ski outings depend on local conditions; preparation throughout this selected version, sporting traffic and safe walking passage require separate checks.
