Route description

Krylatskoye offers a rare chance to ride through a genuine Olympic sporting venue within Moscow. The asphalt cycling course winds among hills, skirts ravines and returns to open ground. Climbs change the riding rhythm, descents demand concentration, and successive bends reveal why road cyclists need both endurance and confident handling. This independent outing uses the large and small circuits with their connection, returning to the northern course side. Olympic history remains part of present activity: following surface restoration, both amateur riders and athletes train on the circuits again. Arrive with a roadworthy bicycle and ride at your own steady pace while following the shared training venue’s rules. Walking on the cycling course is prohibited. Plan church, spring or park-path visits separately through permitted walking areas.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - With caution With a dog - No By bike - Yes With a stroller - No Mobile signal - No data For cyclists able to brake confidently and maintain their line on descents. The operator allows children from six only under a parent’s or coach’s supervision; that does not make the full sporting option suitable for every beginner child. Walking animals and pedestrian outings on the cycling course are prohibited. It is unsuitable for a stroller walk. Reception throughout is unverified.

Nearby

Walking paths in Krylatskoye Hills, Nativity of the Virgin Church, springs and Bolshoy Krylatsky Pond require separate permitted walking approaches. Their proximity does not establish an included stop or permission to cross the course anywhere. The mountain-bike park and skills area have their own routes and requirements, outside this road-cycling option. Visit Skazka Park separately as well. The indoor velodrome and outdoor Olympic course are different sporting venues.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Ice Sports Palace bus stop is on Krylatskaya Street near the northern side. Make a separate approach to a permitted bicycle entrance rather than stepping directly onto the course. Confirm the service and bicycle carriage with the operator. If using the metro, check packaging and bicycle-carriage conditions beforehand, then independently plan a lawful cycling approach to the park.
By car
Reach the permitted entrances from Krylatskaya Street: the operator identifies the small-circuit entrance at the traffic lights near the Skazka Park turn and the large-circuit entrance opposite number 8. Arrange lawful road-side drop-off and unloading. This departure is on the northern cycling surface, reached by bicycle under the current entrance plan. Do not direct a car onto the sporting course. The service entrance from Krylatskiye Kholmy Street, 11 is not a visitor entrance.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Establish present parking locations and conditions near the permitted Krylatskaya Street entrances before travelling. The operator’s announced parking plans do not confirm a space, fee or completed entrance today. Keep service gates and bicycle approaches clear.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 155 м.
SurfaceAsphalt 67%, Compacted dirt 1%, Dirt 1%, Unknown 30%.
Риски Ride clockwise according to present markings. Keep right, leaving overtaking room on the left, and hold a predictable line. Control braking and separation from other riders on descents. Do not stop on a descent, in the middle of the surface or just beyond a blind bend. A helmet is compulsory. Check training arrangements, events and temporary restrictions before riding; do not cross the sporting surface on foot outside permitted places. Choose a lawful exit for a rest rather than an arbitrary stopping point at speed.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 1 h 25 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
The complete independent riding time is unestablished. Keep part of the day free for bicycle preparation, a permitted approach, both circuits and recovery. Pace depends on your ability and condition rather than someone else’s training result. A day-by-day plan is not established. Selecting only the small circuit creates a separate shortened training outing; do not add the second circuit when tired merely to complete the full option.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Prefer a dry surface, moderate wind, cool weather and good visibility for a first visit. Assess grip carefully on bends after rain, and keep water readily available in heat. Snow and ice change the sporting road’s character; confirm winter access and conditions with the operator. Check the event calendar and training restrictions before every ride.
