Route description

The old skiing direction between Malino and Anikeevka crosses wooded hollows, small river valleys and open clearings. The Goretovka shapes the northern section; farther south, the Nakhabinka brings changing banks and descents. In winter, the contrast between enclosed woodland and brighter openings gives these sections their character. This option combines separate pieces of the historic ski route. Select an accessible section and check its approach, river crossings and return beforehand: a continuous Malino-to-Anikeevka passage is not established. Some passages contain locked gates, and Malino’s passenger stop is closed for reconstruction. Experienced woodland skiers can consider an outing after confirming a permitted route.

Route at a glance

Главное за минуту
Explore winter woodland in the Goretovka and Nakhabinka valleys and discover a direction used by generations of Moscow-region skiers. A separately checked section allows time for river relief and the change between clearings and trees. The outing requires independent preparation and recent access information; the historic name does not guarantee an operating through-route.

Nearby

Lesnoye Lake lies near the southern branch, but reaching its shore is not included in this option. A separate permitted land approach is needed; travelling over ice is not a continuation of the outing. Serednikovo Estate, Shchepkino Boloto Lake and the local geocache require their own approaches and are not promised stops here.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Do not rely on Malino as an operating passenger stop: its operator announced closure, and reopening is unconfirmed. For the northern side, consider rail arrival at Firsanovskaya or Zelenograd-Kryukovo followed by a separately arranged approach or transfer. Anikeevka on MCD-2 is the southern transport option. The southern branch leads from the station area into the woods, so returning to the train is a separate requirement. Confirm access to the exact selected section before travelling.
By car
Choose an accessible town or settlement side for the selected section and agree where to meet afterwards. There is no common vehicle approach to all the parts. Do not enter woodland through locked gates or treat ski clearings as roads for cars.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Check where you may leave the car near a permitted approach to the selected section. Plan your return to it separately.

What to expect

Goretovka Valley on the Northern Section a woodland river corridor beside a crossing whose condition needs checking before continuing.
Nakhabinka Valley on the Southern Section a small river encountered more than once along the skiing direction.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainДанные по набору высоты уточняются.
SurfaceТип покрытия пока не определён.
Риски The sections are disconnected and run in different directions; do not guess the links. Locked restricted-access gates occur near the central ends: a permitted alternative or owner agreement is needed, otherwise choose another section. Check every crossing of the Goretovka and Nakhabinka; snow over water does not establish safe ice. Deep ruts, fallen trees and a lost ski trail are possible. Remove skis for permitted road crossings. Keep outside the closed railway grounds at Malino.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 3 h 11 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
A complete through-outing time is not established because connections between the parts are unconfirmed. Plan a separate section with time for the approach, inspection of crossings and return. Decide your turnaround point and latest transport arrival before starting. Old accounts of straightforward station-to-station skiing are not a reliable schedule for this selection.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Winter with adequate snow and recent confirmation of a passable ski trail on the selected section. Thaws particularly affect river hollows, while fresh snowfall can conceal an old passage entirely. A mapped skiing designation does not promise machine grooming. Choose another section if its approach is closed or a river crossing is unverified.
